Provide a single registry of QI work, past and present
Allow easy reporting of project results and monitor KPIs
To advance QI in the organisation and engage staff in a culture of improvement

Life QI is helping PHCC maintain good QI engagement from staff across their health centers. In the last 12 months, they have demonstrated a 300% increase in their QI projects, with 45% of those already demonstrating improvement.

Case Study

Coordinating improvement across Hamad Medical Corporation

Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) continually strives to deliver the safest, most effective and most compassionate care to every patient. Its wide ranging and large-scale quality improvement (QI) programme is a vital element of delivering this level of care consistently across the entire organisation. To support the organisation, management and growth of this QI programme, HMC adopted Life QI as its quality improvement platform of choice in 2019.

HMC's approach to QI combines both corporate-led programmes and bottom-up facility led improvement initiatives. Crucially for HMC, Life QI is designed to support both these approaches. A range of organisation-wide initiatives are run through Life QI, often addressing priorities set by the Ministry. However, the majority of improvement work is designed and led by small teams from individual Facilities and Clinics around HMC. Combined these initiatives are delivering regular meaningful improvements to the quality of care whilst also streamlining improvement governance and Joint Commission International (JCI) reporting.
