When: 9-11 June 2021
Where: Virtual
The International Forum on Quality and Safety in Healthcare is one of the biggest conference for healthcare professionals to share knowledge, ideas and expertise about key themes in quality improvement and patient safety. Every year, the Forum brings together over 4,700 participants from 80+ countries who take part in sessions that range from the basic disciplines of quality improvement to the latest thinking in how to achieve a better, safer and higher quality of care.
This year, because of the global pandemic, the conference is taking place virtually from Wednesday 9th June to Friday 11th June. It provides a unique opportunity to healthcare improvers to learn more about quality improvement methodologies, wellbeing of the healthcare staff, equity, patient partnerships and the future of quality improvement in this new reality.
The theme of 2021 is 'Reconnect and Rebuild'. After a year of unprecedented stress on healthcare staff, participants can benefit from connecting with colleagues from all over the world, sharing experiences and offering support to each other. At the same time, they can receive inspirational examples for how to build back better, stronger and fairer systems.
During the 3-day virtual conference improvers can attend over 48 virtual sessions, live workshops, discussions and networking activities. The whole programme was projected to meet the time pressures of healthcare professionals. All sessions will be registered so participants can decide whether participate in the live session or watch the replay at their leisure, and can also pre-arrange time to chat with others.
